Develop new UX Research Process

Many new applications were implemented without ever discussing the needs of the end-users tasks, so there were serious problems created with usability and speed-to-task. Since all existing applications and all future design work were affected, interviewing internal users on the tools we were creating became a critical gap. I developed an approach that was fast and could collect metrics at scale from all of the state and county branches that needed to use our systems. Understanding the ROI for UX and its research was new for the enterprise, so I built out shorter 10 week challenges to build confidence with smaller, faster outcomes and solid engagement with end-users and stakeholders. I also designed basic sharepoint sites to organize data for maximum transparency for enterprise use and trust in our findings.
